En un principio Microsoft no tenía en mente lanzar Skype en forma de aplicación universal para Windows 10, quería que fuera parte de la nueva aplicación Mensajería, Llamadas y Vídeo. Al final los de Redmond cambiaron de opinión, tuvieron en cuenta la opinión de los usuarios, recibieron muchos comentarios pidiendo esta versión de Skype.
Hace unas semanas pudimos ver la primera captura de pantalla de Skype para Windows 10, la aplicación es muy parecida a la versión de escritorio clásico. Todavía está en desarrollo, pero ya permite realizar lo siguiente:
Iniciar sesión con nuestra cuenta Microsoft o bien vincular una ID de Skype
Mostrar y cambiar nuestra disponibilidad
Lista de contactos
Iniciar una conversación con alguien de nuestra lista de contactos
Ver si la otra persona está escribiendo
Salir de la aplicación
Realizar llamadas de voz y vídeo, también enviar mensajes
Emoticonos y mojis
Enviar fotos
Ver notificaciones de las llamadas entrantes y de los mensajes desde fuera de la aplicación
Participar en grupos de chat
Esta Preview ya está disponible en la Build 14316 de Windows 10 para PC que salió ayer. Ahora, gracias a Windows Blog Italia podemos ver imágenes de Skype –UWP– para Windows 10 Mobile. La interfaz ha cambiado respecto a la versión de Windows Phone, está como mas “vacía” y es más simple, pero no por ello significa que sea peor.
Sobre la salida de Skype para Windows 10 Mobile, posiblemente tengamos que esperar al lanzamiento de la actualización Redstone. Quizás Microsoft permita descargar antes la vista previa desde la Tienda Windows, también cabe la posibilidad de que llegue con alguna nueva Build de Windows 10 Mobile para Insiders.
En Windows Blog Italia han podido probar Skype para Windows 10 Mobile en un Lumia 1520, al parecer es la primera versión de la aplicación y tiene bastante lag y fallos. Todo esto es normal, todavía la tienen que optimizar, está en una fase temprana de desarrollo. A continuación puedes ver las capturas de pantalla.
